West Bengal Governor-designate KN Tripathi will take oath on Thursday. He arrived here at the Raj Bhavan today. Tripathi was received by the State IT, Commerce & Industries and Finance Minister Amit Mitra and Education Minister Partha Chatterjee. Tripathi’s arrival was delayed by over six hours following a blast on the railway track between Mughalsarai and Gaya late last night. A five time MLA from Uttar Pradesh, Tripathi was also the Speaker of the UP Legislative Assembly. He replaces MK Narayanan, who demitted office earlier this month.
