The growing number of land disputes could trigger law and order problems, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Saturday and instructed officials to review each case.
Asking the divisional commissioner to review issues related to land disputes every month, Kumar said each and every case related to land dispute should be solved by formulating policy.
He was addressing a meeting of senior civil and police officials of Purnia division, including the district magistrate and Superintendent of police.
The chief minister took stock of schemes concerning agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery and health and education centres.
