Hyderabad-based multi-specialty dental care chain Denty’s has set up its third clinic in Chennai. This is the 11th outlet in the country for the chain, which was launched in 2009 and has presence in five cities in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu.

“We are planning to foray into Bangalore and Mumbai with the aim to be pan-India by next year with at least 50 clinics,” said Dr Sekhar Chennupati, MD, Denty’s Dental Care. Denty’s invests ₹ 1.5 crore in setting up each outlet. Chennupati sees a great potential for dental care services in the country.

With the changing lifestyle, there is a need to elevate awareness on the significance of oral health and its impact on general health, he said. In April 2014, the company raised ₹27-crore private equity funding from Helion Venture Partners for an undisclosed stake. Our Bureau
