Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), an affiliate of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), has opened its Kerala chapter.
Former Vice-Chancellor of Kerala University B Ekbal inaugurated the EMBS chapter on IEEE premises here. CV Muraleedharan, Associate Head of biomedical technology wing at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, delivered the keynote address.
Koruthu P Varghese, Chairman, EMBS Kerala chapter, gave an overview of the Society. R Srinivasan, Chairman, IEE Kerala chapter, presided.
