Eastern Condiments plans to build its ninth plant in the country in Bengaluru.
Firoz Meeran, manaing director, Eastern Condiments confirmed the development while inaugurating the company’s new regional headquarters in the city and said it would be located in Karnataka.
The Karnataka plant will be the latest in the list that includes facilities in Rasayani, Maharashtra, Ghaziabad, UP, Theni, Tamil Nadu and Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
Eastern already has three facilities in Kerala, and one in the Middle East. Eastern has been growing rapidly in the recent past clocking at 36 per cent growth in six months of the fiscal ended September 30.
