Ch Ramakotaiah, former chairman of the Visakhapatnam centre of the Builders’ Association of India (BAI), was appointed the chairman of the AP unit of the Builders’ Association of India after the bifurcation of the State. He was given the appointment letter in Mumbai on Wednesday. He said he was assuming charge at a crucial juncture after the bifurcation when construction activity was bound to take place on a massive scale in the next few years.
