Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a transit halt in Germany on July 13 en route to the two-day BRICS Summit in Brazil, a Ministry of External Affairs spokesman said on Tuesday. “Should there be anything beyond a transit we will share that with you. Until then this is what it is,” he said. There has been speculation that Modi might travel to Berlin and meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel, but both India and Germany have not confirmed it.
