Merchant establishments across the State have only days to join the sixth edition of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, starting on December 15.
The registrations draw to a close on November 30.
All retail outlets, services and businesses signing up for the event by this date will be included in a directory created by GKSF and distributed widely.
The directory, which will have entries sorted district and product-wise, will be a useful tool for business owners to provide greater visibility to their establishments.
“We expect to publish around one lakh copies of the directory which will be available at all the main tourism destinations, tourism information centres at railway and bus stations, with registered merchant establishments as well as trade bodies, in public libraries and so on,” U. V. Jose, Director, GKSF, said here today.
An organising committee with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy as Chief Patron and Minister for Tourism A. P. Anil Kumar as Chairman has been constituted.
