State Tourism Minister AP Anil Kumar laid the foundation stone for a four-storeyed guest house at Munnar. The guest house will be constructed in phases and the government will provide all necessary support to complete the project in a time-bound manner, he said. The State Tourism department decided to construct the guest house with all modern facilities in the heart of Munnar to offer quality service to the tourists visiting the hill station. The new building will come up near the old guest house, which has only eight rooms. According to the officials, the new guest house will have 36 rooms in four floors.
