The Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is organising a three day All India Student Congress 2013 at Coimbatore from Oct 3-5.
The event would be attended by about 330 delegates from around 80 institutions across the country and would be held at the Amrita University here.
According to a release, the student congress would provide an opportunity to the participants from various disciplines and institutions to interact and network and gain from the experiences of leaders in the field from a series of technical sessions to be held during the meet.
Among those scheduled to participate are M. Ponnavaikko, Chairman, IEEE India Council, Harish Mysore, Director, IEEE India Operations, C.R. Muthukrishnan, former Deputy Director, IIT Madras, and T.S.Rangarajan, Chairman, IEEE Madras Section.
