The temple town of Tirupathi will host the World Telugu Conference from December 27-29.
The State Cabinet has constituted a sub-committee with the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Minister for Finance, Minister for Major Industries and five other Cabinet members to oversee its smooth conduct.
The State Government has allotted Rs 25 crore for conducting the conference. The Council of Ministers, who met here on Friday, gave its approval for the smooth conduct of the conference.
The sub-committee will oversee the arrangements required for the event where experts from all over the world are expected to take part.
