Uttar Pradesh continued to reel under searing heat on Sunday with Allahabad recording the highest temperature at 45.1 degrees Celsius.
The day temperatures fell in Faizabad division and changed little in remaining divisions of the state, according to MeT.
The temperature was largely above normal in Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur, Moradabad, Jhansi, and Agra divisions.
MeT department has forecast heat wave conditions in some parts of the state during the next two days besides possible rain or thundershowers at one or two places over eastern UP.
