VGN Developers has called for bids from healthcare operators to set up and run a 100-bed hospital in a township project it is developing in Avadi, a Chennai suburb.

The developer has advertised for institutions and interested parties to establish and operation the multi-specialty hospital at their own cost in the 150-acre township planned in Avadi.

According to details available on the developer’s Web site, it has set aside 1.8 acres at the project VGN Gardens.

The developer will construct the hospital building in partnership with the healthcare provider on a build-lease-transfer model.

The hospital operator will fully handle the operations and after a stipulated period will pay the developer the agreed cost of land and building. The hospital will serve general public with some privileges for VGN’s customers.
