Union Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapati Raju participated here on Tuesday in a traditional festival known as Sirimanotsavam, celebrated annually after Dasara to worship Goddess Pydithalli, presiding deity of the historical town as well as the royal Gajapati family. A scion of the royal family and hereditary trustee of the temple, Raju paid obeisance to the Goddess along with members of the family and others.
