"Action is being taken against cow vigilantes and the law will take its course," BJP chief Amit Shah, said here on Wednesday.
He was addressing the media during his three-day Bengal tour to strengthen and rejuvenate the party in the state. On questions relating to cow vigilantism, he said: "Action is being taken and law will take its course."
"We have told people not to take the law in their hands. Cases are being registered," he added.
When asked specifically if such activism was bringing disrepute to the saffron party, he replied in the negative.
"The Constituion calls for bovine protection," Shah claimed without clearly indicating his stand on the matter.
