The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Tuesday has been adjourned twice to restore order in the House.
The trouble started when the Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao rejected an adjournment motion moved by YSR Congress Party over the Government decision to hike power tariff.
When the Speaker rejected the adjournment motion, YSR Congress Party members raised slogans and insisted that the motion be taken up and the Speaker insisting on taking up regular business.
As repeated appeals went unheeded, and the House in commission, The Speaker adjourned the House for 10 minutes to restore order.
When the House reassembled, there was no change in the situation.
The State Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that they were open to debate on the issue after the Chief Minister's statement, but the opposition members were unrelenting.
The House was adjourned again for 15 minutes.
