Former President APJ Abdul Kalam will dedicate Aster Medicity to nation in the presence of the State Chief Minister Oommen Chandy here on Wednesday.
Aster Medicity, the flagship venture of Aster DM Healthcare Ltd has been set up in a 40 acre waterfront campus in Cheranelloor. The project is envisaged as a full fledged medical township with 670 bed facility with the objective to redefine the concept of quality healthcare in this region.
Azad Moopen, Chairman, Aster DM Healthcare and Harish Pillai, CEO, Aster Medicity said that the hospital will provide free medical insurance to 2,500 BPL families in the Cheranelloor village panchayat which will cover around 10,000 people.
Envisaged as a comprehensive medical township, the first phase of Aster Medicity has one multi speciality hospital and eight separate centres of excellence.
