The Rare Earths Division of Indian Rare Earths Limited at Udyogamandal here has won the award for industrial safety in production units from the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board. At an event held in Mumbai last week, S.S.Bajaj, chairman, AERB presented the award to R.N.Patra, CMD, IREL and . S.Suryakumar, head, IREL, Udyogamandal.
IREL is a central public sector undertaking, functioning under the Department of Atomic Energy. It is a mini-Ratna category-1.
