Private sector lender Axis Bank on Wednesday announced the opening of its new branch in Nadiad, Gujarat. The bank now has 282 branches in the state.
The bank will leverage the branch to reach out to customers and empower them with digital offerings and facilitate services through Axis Pay and Axis Mobile application.
The branch will offer comprehensive banking services such as deposits, loans, savings account and current account as well as locker facility, a statement said here.
On digital payment solutions, Axis Bank is offering the desired infrastructure across India to conduct cashless transactions.
The bank’s QR-based scanning solutions have been a great digital platform for small ticket vendors to conduct cashless transactions.
Sanjay Silas, Head - Branch Banking, Axis Bank said, "We are very happy to inaugurate our new branch in Nadiad. We have witnessed the increasing demand of banking services and products amongst retail and institutional customers in Gujarat."
