The West Bengal Tourism Department has decided to participate in three international fairs. The department will participate in ITB Asia at Singapore, World Travel Market in London and ITB Berlin. Exclusive stalls will be set up and tour packages made available during the event.
The first fair that the department will take part in includes the ITB Asia in Singapore, a trade show for the Asian travel market, between October 23 and October 25 this year.
It will be followed by the World Travel Market,London between November 4 and November 7; and ITB Berlin – (Berlin Internationale Tourismus-Börse) between March 5 and March 9 next year.
According to a release issued by the Tourism Department, the USP of participation at the marts is to “exclusively focus on tourism opportunity in the state of West Bengal” and “marketing it to tour operators across the world”.
