About 1000 buyer-seller meetings are expected in the 10th edition of analytica Anacon India and India Lab expo which began here on Thursday.
The three-day event has a participation of 250 exhibitors including 50 from abroad from the biotechnology, diagnostics, analytics and lab technology industries, Bhupinder Singh, Chief Executive Office of Messe Muenchen India, the organiser of the event told newspersons here today.
The main focus areas of business interest are in diagnostics, life-sciences besides analytical and testing instruments, he said.
For the fist time, the trade show has a Japanese pavilion. In addition, there is also a German pavilion with 10 exhibitors.
``Year on year, there is 10 per cent growth in number of participants. This year, we are also tracking the value of business negotiations/deals which are happening out of this event,’’ Singh said.
The regulatory aspects for pharmaceutical laboratories, bio-pharmaceuticals, food safety and clinical diagnosis, among others, are also being discussed in the sessions.
