An opinion poll by Times Now and VMR has predicted an emphatic victory for the BJP-led NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The survey said the BJP alliance will bag 283 seats while the UPA, led by the Congress, will get 135 seats. Other parties will get 125 out of the total 543 seats.

State-wise predictions

In Kerala, the survey said the ruling LDF will get just three out of the 20 seats while the BJP is likely to open its account from the State with one seat and the Congress-led UDF will get 16 seats.

In Andhra Pradesh, the survey predicted 22 seats fro YSRCP, while the ruling TDP will get just three of the total 25 seats. The Congress and the BJP are unlikely to get any seats, it added. In Telangana, ruling TRS may win 13 of the 17 seats, while the Congress will get just one and the BJP may get two. One seat is likely to go to other parties. In Karnataka, the UPA may get 13 seats while the BJP will get 15 seats. The ruling JD(S)-Congress alliance is giving a tough fight to the BJP in the State. In West Bengal, the survey predicted 31 seats for ruling Trinamool Congress while the BJP is likely to get 11 seats.

In the politically crucial Bihar, the NDA may get 27 out of the 40 seats while the RJD-led Opposition may get just 13 seats. In Jharkhand too, the NDA will have a lead with eight seats out of 14 and the Congress-JMM alliance may get just six. In Odisha, out of the 21 seats, the BJP may get 14 and the ruling BJD may get just seven. The Congress is unlikely to get any seats. In Assam, the ruling BJP may get eight out of the 14 seats and the Congress may get six. In Maharashtra, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance may get 39 out of the 48 seats and the Congress-NCP alliance may get just nine. In Gujarat, the Congress will get just two of the 26 seats and the BJP may get 24. In Uttar Pradesh, the survey predicted two seats for the Congress, 42 for the BJP and 36 for the grand alliance. In Uttarakhand, the BJP may get all the five seats, the survey said.

In Madhya Pradesh, the ruling Congress may get seven of the 29 seats, while the BJP may win 22 seats. In Rajasthan too, the BJP may get 20 seats while ruling Congress may get just five. In Delhi, the survey said the BJP will win all seven seats and in Haryana, the ruling BJP may get eight seats, the Congress just two. In Tamil Nadu, the DMK-led alliance may get 34 and the AIADMK-led alliance just five seats. In Punjab, the Congress alliance will get 12 of the 13 seats and AAP may win one seat.
