A passenger train between Kasaragod in Kerala and Byndoor (Mookambika Road) in Udupi district of Karnataka will be put into service from Monday. A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railway said here that the train no. 56665/56666 Byndoor-Kasaragod will start the service from Byndoor station. The service was announced in the Railway Budget of 2014-15. The train, which leaves Kasaragod at 6.40 a.m., reaches Byndoor at 11.50 a.m. In the return direction, the train leaves Byndoor at 1.05 p.m. and reaches Kasaragod at 6.10 p.m.
