Centre for Development Studies (CDS) will host the fourth B. G. Kumar lecture on ‘Government accountability: An overview of recent research findings’ by Prof Dileep Mookherjee on Thursday.
A CDS spokesman said here that the speaker is a professor of economics at Boston University and director of the Institute of Economic Development there. The lecture is in memory of Bhaskar Gopalakrishna Kumar (B.G. Kumar), an associate fellow at CDS during 1990-93.
He was a student of Prof Amartya Sen at Leeds, Cambridge and Oxford.
