Andhra Pradesh has on Sunday reported 477 new cases which took the total number of Coronavirus tally to 8,929.
According to a bulletin released on Sunday, 24,451 samples were tested in the last twenty-four hours. While 151 patients have been discharged five succumbed taking the total death toll to 106 in the state. After a total of 4,307 recoveries, the number of active cases in the state now stood at 4,516, according to the bulletin.
An examination of data since June 1 when the `unlock’ started, shows a significant increase in the number of Covid-19 positive cases with the addition of 5,253 cases in the last 20 days.
