Andhra Pradesh has reported detection of 48 new Coronavirus (Covid-19) positive cases taking the total tally to 2719.
Out of these, four pertained to those who arrived from Tamil Nadu.
According to a bulletin released on Tuesday, 48 tested positive out of 8,148 samples tested in the last twenty-four hours while on succumbed.
With this, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 pandemic in the state has reached 57.
Out of 2719 positive cases detected in the state so far, 1903 have been discharged while 759 are being treated. The cumulative number of foreign returnees is at 111.
