The Madhya Pradesh Forest Department, with cooperation of State Bank of India, has started an electronic system for payment of earned funds after sale of various forest produce.
The new system will be useful for all kinds of buyers of forest produce including individuals and firms, an official release said here on Friday.
They will not have to get bank drafts prepared following introduction of the scheme, Principal Secretary Forests B P Singh said.
