Finland-based Outokumpu, a stainless steel manufacturer, is showcasing its range of products and technical services in emerging high-end applications in the sectors of energy, oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment and desalination plants at the Chemtech South exhibition being held here.

In a statement coinciding with Chemtech South World 2017 being held at the Hitex Exhibition Centre here, Suri said, “Outokumpu’s high strength duplex stainless steel grades offer new opportunities for the industry to attain these goals increasingly effectively and competitively.”
He said the overall demand for stainless steel flat products in the industrial segment in India is more than 800,000 tonnes. The demand for industrial grades is set to grow more than three times in the next 10 years.
