A fire broke out this morning on the sixth floor of the Infinity Benchmark building in Salt Lake area that houses the offices of several IT companies.
No casualties have been reported.
Fire brigade sources said 50 people were evacuated from the 18-storey building after the fire broke out at 7.30 am. Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
The fire is suspected to have originated from a server room housing computer units on the north-west side of the sixth floor, the sources said.
