Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an informal summit with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Sochi. Both the leaders will discuss each other's national development priorities and bilateral matters. In April, Modi had travelled to Chinese city of Wuhan for an informal summit with President Xi Jingpin.

Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini will return to Goa today after completing its circumnavigation of the globe. Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman, along with Admiral Sunil Lamba, will flag in the vessel. INSV Tarini set out for sail on September 10, 2017 from Goa. It is the first Indian all-women crew to circumnavigate the globe.
Three Indian Navy ships will make a port call at Tien Sa Port in Vietnam between May 21 and May 25. The visit seeks to enhance maritime cooperation between the two navies and will bolster the strong bonds of friendship between the two nations. The last visit by Indian Navy ship to Vietnam was in September 2017, when two of its ships -- INS Satpura and INS Kadmatt -- visited Hai Phong port.
