Officials of the Customs Department at Mangalore International Airport seized foreign currency amounting to 20,000 Saudi riyals in various denominations. A press release by the department said here on Thursday that the currency was worth ₹3.52 lakh. It said that the passenger – Jafar Sadique Chala Mohammed Kunhi of Kasaragod district in Kerala – was not in possession of any valid documents. He was arrested while trying board a flight to Dubai on Wednesday evening.
