Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to families of students who died in Beas river flood in Himachal Pradesh.
He said rescue operations are being closely monitored by a high powered team headed by Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju.
Twenty-five engineering students from Hyderabad are missing and feared dead in the sudden flooding of river on June 8 when they were on a holiday there.
