Product industry organisation iSPIRIT and Hyderabad4Innovation are going to host the second edition of Innofest, celebrating innovation in different sectors, in Hyderabad on November 21.
Scheduled to be held at International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad), the event would invite innovators from private and public sector research laboratories.
“We have invited representatives from about 25 public sector research laboratories to showcase their innovations,” Sharad Sharma, Co-Founder of iSPIRIT, has said.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, he said the first ever Innofest was held in Bengaluru in August, generating huge interest from innovators. “After this, we will hold similar events in cities like Jaipur and Kolkatta in the next the few months,” he said.
Hyderabad Software Exporters’ Association (HYSEA) President Ramesh Loganathan said a number of hackathons would be organised to mark the event.
