The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), Hyderabad Chapter has formed the 'GST Help Desk' which provides quick answers to the questions and clarifications raised by professionals, accountants or the industry.
The help desk aims to provide clarifications within a time of 24 hours maximum for the benefit of the various target groups. Anyone, wishing to reach the help desk may send an email to gsthelp.cma@gmail.com.
The Hyderabad Chapter is also actively conducting GST awareness programmes at the floor of the industry in various industrial estates. Recently programmes on 'GST Basics and Compliance Procedures' were conducted in the industrial estates of Mallapur and Gandhinagar.
Trade, professionals and accountants are called upon to utilize the services of the Institute for easy transition from the existing tax structure to GST, D. Surya Prakasam, Chairman, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and Hyderabad Chapter and General Manager (F&CA), Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd., said in a statement.
