The Mangaluru branch of SIRC (Southern India Regional Council) of the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) will conduct a national conference – Jnana Deevige – in Mangaluru on June 26 and 27. A press release said here that over 350 chartered accountants (CAs) and 250 CA students are expected to participate. H Kumar, Managing Director of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, will inaugurate the conference on June 26. P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director of Karnataka Bank Ltd, and PR Arloli, Chairman of SIRC of ICAI, will be the guests of honour. M Govinda Rao, former member of Finance Commission, will deliver the keynote address, it said. SR Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, will address the delegates on June 27, the release added.
