The Jammu and Kashmir Government will develop 20 urban vegetable clusters here to help farmers get maximum returns on their land.
The Department of Agriculture has identified 15 locations to be developed as urban clusters in Jammu district and the remaining will be in other districts of Jammu division, the Minister for Agriculture, Mr Ghulam Hassan Mir, said.
The Minister chaired a review meeting to assess the status of the spots being developed under the National Vegetable Initiative for Urban Clusters, a sub-scheme of the Rashtriya Krishi Yojna.
