The Karnataka government will strengthen the police force by recruiting more constables, according to Home Minister G Parameshwara. Addressing presspersons on the sidelines of a programme to launch patrol vehicles for the use of Mangaluru police commissionerate on Thursday, he said efforts are on to recruit 21,000 police. The government has recruited 16,000 constables till now.
