The Karnataka Chief Minister has approved participation of a delegation of women from the state in WEConnect’s International Conference and Business Fair at Austin, Texas.
The international meet will be held from June 23 to 25 at the Austin Convention Center.
Considering the potential of women entrepreneurs from the state, the Chief Minister has for the first time approved a delegation led by K Ratna Prabha, Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industries Department.
The delegation consists of 22 members, including 19 women entrepreneurs from FKCCI, Bangalore, eMERG, Bangalore, and KCCI, Hubli.
Ratna Prabha said, “The delegation will apprise US-based MNCs of investment opportunities in Karnataka and prospects for women entrepreneurs.”
“Also, the delegation will get an opportunity to network with various business organisations/ industries and the delegation will invite investors to invest in Karnataka with joint ventures between women-to-women entrepreneurs,” she added.
