The website of Kerala Tourism, www.keralatourism.org, has won the national tourism award for the ‘most innovative use of information technology’ for 2012-13. It is for the sixth time that the website, rated best among travel websites from India, has won this award.
The previous occasions were in 2000-11, 2002-03, 2005-06, 2008-09 and 2010-11. The website is designed and maintained by Thiruvananthapuram-based Invis Multimedia, IT solutions provider for Kerala Tourism, an official spokesman said. It carries about 15 GB of data.
