Aimed at improving the skills of the engineering students and to provide them right guidance, state-owned infrastructure and consulting firm KITCO Limited has entered into an agreement with the Toc H Institute of Science and Technology (TIST).
A memorandum of understanding in this regard was signed between KITCO Managing Director Cyriac Davies and TIST Principal D Vincent H Wilson to offer training and guidance to improve employability skills of the students.
According to Wilson, the objective was to impart practical training to TIST students in different engineering fields and make them industry-ready with the help of KITCO’s expertise in the area. Through this partnership, we hope to improve the students’ employment opportunities and to promote their entrepreneurship qualities.
As part of this agreement, a one-day workshop on ‘entrepreneurship’ was held at TIST. It was led by KITCO Principal Consultant K C C Nair.
