Malaysian airline Malindo Air has launched daily service from Kochi to Kuala Lumpur. The maiden flight took off from the Cochin International Airport Ltd last night. According to Chandran Ramamuthy, CEO, Malindo Air, Kochi is Malindo Air’s fifth destination in India and the 10th international destination for the one-year-old carrier. The four-hour flight is operated on the airline’s brand new 180-seater Boeing 737-900 ER. The airline in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia is organising a Malaysia Travel Fair at ‘Lulu Mall’ here.
