To boost small and medium scale enterprises, the Department of Industries and Commerce is organising 'Machinery Expo Kerala 2018’ - at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium Ground here from January 12 to 15.
The 2nd edition of the expo will showcase latest technologies with an emphasis on machines and machine tools, automation technologies, CNS machines and systems and advanced processing and packaging machinery.
Machinery manufacturers and suppliers in various sectors are participating in the expo, which will be a one-stop shop to display the latest manufacturing solutions, as well as promote MSMEs. Various research institutes and entrepreneurs will be participating to develop new technologies in the field of agriculture, food processing, ayurveda and plastic, K.N.Satheesh, Director, Industries and Commerce, said.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the State Industries Minister, A C Moideen.
