Mandya district credit plan for financial year 2015-16 has been fixed at ₹3,353.29 crore. According to GS Basavarajappa, Chief Manager, Vijaya Bank (lead bank), the plan was approved at the DLRC meet chaired by Rohini Sindhuri, Zilla Panchyat CEO. Agriculture sector has been allocatged ₹2,069.95 crore (₹1,511.29 crore for crop loan and ₹558.36 crore for term loan). SSI and non-farm sectors got ₹175.54 crore and other priority sectors ₹865.76 crore. Non-priority sector was allotted ₹242.04 crore.
