Japan’s Mayewaka Manufacturing Company, which provides technological solutions for the food processing sector, has expressed interest in bringing in investments worth $ 8-9 billion to the State.
The company’s executive met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence today to discuss the areas of collaboration between the state government and the company.
Yoshiro Tanaka, chairman of the company, explained that the company can support the state through technological improvements in the food processing sector of the state.
He informed that the firm has already tied up with 24 potential companies, who are the customers of their technology in Japan, for a food park project in the State.
The Chief Minister asked the company to identify a potential site near Krishnapatnam port for exports.
