The Madras Management Association has invited nominations from companies and institutions for its Managerial Excellence Award – the 14th year of the same. The award will recognise excellence in managerial thinking, action and demonstrable results.
Any organisation with its corporate or registered office in any of the southern States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry is eligible to participate in the award, says a release from MMA.
The award, supported by Ashok Leyland and the Murugappa Group, will be given in four categories – manufacturing sector, services sector, SMEs and education institutions.
Deloitte has been appointed by MMA as a consultant to help in the process of short-listing the nominees by providing industry information and by analysis of various submissions made by nominee companies/institutions.
The award will consider multiple facets of the company, including vision and goals, financial performance, initiatives shown and corporate social responsibility.
The last date for receiving nominations is April 28, the release said.
