Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar today told the State Legislative Assembly here that the first phase of the proposed greenfield airport at Mopa in North Goa would be commissioned in 2019.
He was responding to the question tabled by Leader of the Opposition Pratapsingh Rane during the Question Hour today. The Chief Minister said the tendering process for construction of the airport in Pernem taluka is in progress.
