My Brick, My Amaravati crosses one million brick subscription

The Andhra Pradesh Government drive for crowd funding for building the new capital city of Amaravati has attracted over 15,496 people/partners whose subscription had crossed the magical one million (10,02,594) bricks mark by 10 am.

This works out to a contribution of over Rs 1 crore within about 48 hours of announcement of the My Brick, My Amaravati initiative by the State Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

This drive is based on Naidu's appeal to people to be part of the development of the capital on the Krishna river banks making people partners in the development process.
