Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on predicted a comfortable victory for the BJP in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly polls, saying that the people of that State were likely to be swayed by the sentiment that “they have their own prime minister”. “I do not think there is any danger to the BJP in the Gujarat polls,” he told reporters.
On Rahul Gandhi’s aggressive poll campaign, the JD(U) chief said he had not noticed anything new in the Congress Vice-President style. The JD(U), which partners the BJP in Bihar, has decided to contest the Gujarat Assembly polls on its own and field candidates on a handful of seats.
