The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has entered into an agreement with the Government of Telangana to offer MeeSeva portal users the option to pay using UPI Collect Request, RuPay Debit and Credit Cards for the services on the portal.

The MeeSeva portal of the State government offers over 150 government services and surpassed 100 million transactions last year.

“Our partnership with MeeSeva will help people reap the benefits of our first-of-its kind domestic debit and credit card payment network in India and will be a true Make in India collaboration,” Praveena Rai, Chief Operating Officer, NPCI, said in a release.

Currently, NPCI is in the process of enabling QR code-enabled payment as an additional feature on the portal. This feature would be available online as well as offline.
