The Nitte-based Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management, in association with the Bengaluru-based Infopace Management Pvt Ltd, will conduct a one-day awareness programme on ZED (Zero Effect and Zero Defect) for the representatives from MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) sector at Nitte in Udupi district on January 13. A press release said here that this initiative of the Central government for MSME sector will help enhance the quality of products matching global standards. The main objective of ZED scheme is to reduce the adverse effect of products on environment. There is no registration fee for the programme, it said.
